Working on Das Ding

I am putting out a zine with my art. It's called Das Ding.
Das Ding #1 will be available in a couple of months months, maybe earlier, together with a bunch of 12X18" posters of my illustrations, beautifully printed by Henco Reprographics in Asheville, NC.

I am reading The Child by Jules Vallès, translated by Douglas Parmée. It's great. One of the darkest novels about childhood that I have ever read.

Screening in Baltimore

On Thursday, November 18 at the Minas Gallery in Baltimore, there will be a screening of some of my short cut-out animations, together with work by Linda Franklin, Adam Robinson, Justin Sirois, Ron Tanner and Joseph Young. It's at 7pm.

The event is called Inkslingers and Flicksters, a Night of Short Films by Writerly Types.
Here is the description: "Enjambment gets discussed while eggs get poached, collage meets audio, microfiction is recorded, book characters are cut-out and animated, a turtle writes a novel in the sand, writing meets seeing meets understanding, love lamentation is voiced over, self portraits become poem... images and much, much more!"

Thanks to Heather Rounds for inviting me.

I have DVDs of my animations for sale. They are only 10 dollars (free shipping): HERE.
