Holy Broken, this Sunday
This Sunday, June 13th at 9 pm at GREY EAGLE in Asheville, NC, Sin Ropas will present their last CD Holy Broken.
Tim Hurley and Danni Iosello were in great bands in the 90's (Red Red Meat, Califone, Loftus, Pure etc), but Sin Ropas is great beyond comparisons.
I will screen my short cut-out animations, and some new video work that I've never shown before.
Here is the artwork I did for the Holy Broken CD. Honored Tim and Danni asked me to do it.

Check out the European version by the great Paolo Moretti, here.
And here's a video I made with four or five takes of Sin Ropas playing in their basement. The sound is from the first take.

Write-up on Spike Jonze's Where the Wild Things Are blog
On the the official blog of Spike Jonze's Where the Wild Things Are there is a very nice write-up about my work, HERE.
Thanks!
Thanks!
David Markson
David Markson died this weekend. His work states that the existence of the novel is arbitrary, that the novel has whichever rules we decide it to have.
