Sometimes he wished he could gather all the dogs he loved most and walk off the end of the world with them

Electric Literature (www.electricliterature.com) commissioned me this short film. It's one minute long. It's based on a sentence by Lydia Millet (www.lydiamillet.net): "Sometimes he wished he could gather all the dogs he loved most and walk off the end of the world with them", from her story Sir Henry.
The music is by Father Murphy (http://www.maledetto.it/fathermurphy).
It's a sample of what my full length film DIECI TESTE will be.

Monterroso

Since 1997, I belong to the Augusto Monterroso Fan Club.
Each time I re-read Obras completas (Complete Works), I think that everybody else writes too much.

It's great to share a frame with an owl

Over the weekend Michael Kimball and I filmed a bunch of authors for our film 60 WRITERS/60 PLACES.
We shot my segment too, at the Brooklyn Zoo. It's great to share a frame with an owl.
In the pictures:
1, 2: Michael and I direct Leigh Newman in Leigh Newman/Living Room.
3: Luca Dipierro in Luca Dipierro/Zoo.

Two books made of paper

I am reading two books that talk to each other in a strange way: Our Lady of The Flowers by Jean Genet, and The Journals of John Cheever. Cheever is darkness, and Genet is flames. I love Genet's sentences, how they are not cleaned and burn one after the other.

As shown above, these are real books, made of paper. I like to read books made of paper.
